Gig boat equipment

Equipment & Safety

We provide all the necessary equipment to get you started on the water safely.

  • Life Jackets (PFDs): Provided for all rowers and coxswains. Mandatory for all sessions.
  • Oars & Cushions: High-quality gig oars and seat pads provided.
  • Safety Boat: Support vessel available for youth sessions and rougher conditions.
  • Qualified Coxswains: All sessions led by experienced and qualified coxswains.
